This website began as a work-for-hire project that turned into a partnership with a larger product-focused company. As interests shifted, the blog was discontinued, and I took over ownership. As I navigated the new frontier of the cannabis business, CBD Advocator became a labor of love. In a sea of keyword stuffing, misinformation, and biased spinning of the truth, my aim was to offer people quality, reliable content that’s rooted in reality. The site was undergoing a 2020 refresh, with more focus to be placed on lifestyle content and consumer product reviews (I’m particularly proud of the 100-point product review system I created), but this was deprioritized as the business landscape stagnated.
